Otherworldly Pathogens
Another great movie to watch this Halloween is the Thing 2011, which is actually a prequel to James Carpenter's cult classic from the 80s. I think people tend to focus on the alien/monster itself and dismiss this movie at the microscopic level, which the prequel dives deeper into... This first movie makes you think, well, the alien was the monster that actually replicated humans, mutated into a monster and then killed people, but the second movie may suggest, what if the alien was actually infected with an invasive pathogen that replicated it's own cells and that's what made it crash land the spaceship in the first place?
James Fox has a new documentary film set to come out related to UAPs called Moment of Contact, be sure to check it out. Just a brief synopsis, there was a police officer Marco Eli Chereze from Varginha Brazil who first came in contact with a creature that may have been infected with another worldly pathogen.

Years ago, there was a very interesting episode on Unexplained files of where a UAP traveled through clouds, later red rain hit Sri Lanka, fascinating episode from this Docu-Series on the Science Channel... Later after analyzing these rain particles under the microscope, they found that these cells had no DNA strand and would not die even under extreme heat conditions that would kill all other earthly life forms. I enjoyed other episodes as well too, like the episode on Morgellons Disease, which has been linked to Lyme Disease, aka Borreliosis, which some Doctors like Dr. Amelia Withington claim a large percentage of people with Morgellons are also infected with Lyme Disease, a tick borne vector that many Hunters and Fishermen from the Outdoors Community have contracted. Definitely worth watching!
Clayton Morris from Redacted made a point recently criticizing the US government for suggesting Alien life outside this planet could be a "threat, what threats exactly. They've been here for thousands of years, now there a threat, suddenly they're a threat." While Clayton is making a great point, suggesting the government could be doing this just to just raise funds. I also think he's just looking at the macroscopic level and not on the microscopic level...
