It's so amazing what you see when you dive with an underwater drone, I expect this will one day become a very important tool for amateur and professional bass fishermen alike when studying fish through different seasons, time of day, the spawn, etc... You really get to see what certain species are up to, like this small school of largemouth bass or what some anglers call a wolf pack.

Realin with Ryan on YouTube made a great point, how he didn't know "largemouth school up in the winter just like smallies." Either did I to be honest with you, for the most part when I think of largemouth bass I think they're hiding out underwater docks, near structure, one by one. FLW's site states that wolf-pack bass peak in May and June, with another small peak in September. I'm sure that's true and all, but it's obvious they also join up during the winter as well because this video from Lake St. Clair shows them schooling up during early January, crazy huh?

I think this is just a taste to what's come for the underwater drone technology, I'm sure as the technology progresses and time goes on, fishermen who start to purchase these ROVs will start to learn all types of new things about bass, even other species like walleye, pike, and musky. When I get a chance I want to try to get some trout on film as well.

I really love diving and filming with the Geneinno T1, the controls are very inuitive to learn and it's amazing how at times the bass seem to follow me around when I'm in their territory. Question is, are they just curious to know what I am? Or are they protecting their hunting grounds and kind of warning me off, I wonder if they do this with pike and musky when they're in the area? Now that would be neat to know, hopefully I get some more dives and see...

Michigander Raymond Foote shot some footage of a pike hanging out next to some largemouth bass, some really amazing footage. I tend to love how stable the Glaidus Mini is when it films the fish, the footage is very smooth. I think the Geneinno T1 is just a tad step down, however the Geneinno T1 can dive 492 feet, while the Mini can only go 330 feet. I mean both are pretty impressive, the technology can only improve from here on out.

I had my LED lights on at times, closer to the end when I roll up on a school of gizzard shad at night, you really get to see how powerful the LED luments lights work for lighting up the water. I'm really looking forward to getting out on the main lake at night time, see what's hanging out in the deep water at night, the water is definitely clearer out there during the summer too. Northern Mike and I did some night fishing a few times couple years back, we got some walleye and also saw a gar pike hanging out near the surface. I'm sure there's going to be all sorts of neat nocturnal fish to record at night.

Remind you Geneinno, Chasing Innovation, and some of the drone companies like QYSEA plan on rolling out sonar soon, so that will help track down fish during murky water conditions, even at night time. It's going to be a lot of fun studying fish with this underwater drone, hopefully in the long run educate me and make me a better fisherman.
