Kind of interesting, I remember mentioning this hot fishing spot on the south side of the lake, it's where I-96 meets the Huron River... Or what I thought was considered the Huron River, as the old Kent Lake map called it the Huron River while the new one doesn't and considers it part of Kent Lake.

Anyways years ago, I'm talking a decade ago I was fishing that lower section of the lake, and caught a nice size smallmouth bass and some largemouth bass trolling on my Pelican Bass Raider. Really quite beautiful back there, very quiet too, good spot to just hangout and bobber fish if you're into that. I think there's an actual waterfall back near the actual Huron once you head south even more, would be fun to take an aerial drone back there.
