Ultimate Fishing Show Novi MI
Arcasting did a fabulous job helping these companies promote some of their fishing tackle up on YouTube recently! Question, why hasn't anyone else done this to help the local fishing economy? Huge props to this Michigan angler! We really need to be doing more videos like this as they really are fun to watch and they help get the word out about custom baits by local companies in the area.
I was just thinking about doing a video this spring talking about the benefits of having a local fishing shop like Lakeside in the area versus a franchise like Cabelas, discussing what local anglers like about Lakeside and what could be improved upon in the future. Just an idea of mine...
Anyways, ya know the old saying, two great mind think alike, well I really enjoy fishing with Arcasting. These guys have both helped me out tremendously on making me a better fishermen, as well as a better YouTuber.
Anyways, out of all the unique fishing lures that were being featured in this video, I think the one that caught my eye was the Ridgeback Goby from Anglers Choice. At first I thought the guy said Angler's Point, ya know the fishing store up in New Baltimore, no this actually a small company out of Ontarioa Canada that specializes in soft plastic lures. Anyways, they make this custom goby soft plastic bait that I hear just drives the smallmouth crazy. Maybe something I can try this spring along with jigging the 4.5 inch Suissex Spin Blade Shad for smallmouth bass. I got a few other unique lures I'm going to try on bronzebacks this spring, some of them vintage, so stay tuned on my YouTube channel. I think it would be neat to maybe rig the Ridgeback Goby in a dropshot rig.
Here's some more fishing lures and tackle that Arcasting showed in his Ultimate Fishing Show video, I'm glad he covered Lifted Jigs booth, because I'm not quite sure what Ned Rig I wanted to try this spring, it seems that Ned Bomb by Missile Baits is a very popular soft plastic.

I just got my video up of the Ultimate Fishing Show. I think both of our videos are great and will help promote the show, hopefully get more youngsters to put the Xbox down and partake in the Great Outdoors. With all these damn gadgets and video games these days, I'm starting to worry a little about the future of the sport. I really don't think that there's enough youngsters getting involved these days, I could be wrong, but I tried putting a little excitement to my video to get these Millennials jazzed up for the sport.
